How do I get a Meg Reilley portraiture session? easy
STEP 1
The Game Plan.
We have a live phone conversation where you’ll tell me about each of your family members & their personalities. We discuss what you want to get out of the shoot.
We go over my process and pricing on our initial call. Then you book a shoot with me, if you want!
Next, we schedule the shoot date & a time to select clothing. We FaceTime pre shoot. Preparation going into shoot day pays off big time.
We discuss what to wear for each person, & how to wear your hair. We talk options of potential locations.
If you do book, you can remind everyone that this is a fun time, and we will be there with y’all to capture who you are. There are not unreal expectations for anyone other than show up, fed and as rested as possible. We will have fun and be outside together for a couple of hours.
STEP 2
The Photo Shoot.
Once you arrive at the shoot, you can relax. I meet each person where they are that day and in that moment. It’s ok if there were tears about an outfit or someone dropped their breakfast or slept poorly. There’s nothing I can’t handle with kids or any humans, because I meet bad moods with kindness and patience and that makes anything better.
The session will last approximately 2 hours. We will move around within a single location. I will photograph each of you individually and in small groups in 30 minute-ish increments so there will be time for everyone to take breaks.
I adore kids and so does my assistant. We have a load of fun and I there is NO torture for anyone in my photography game.
Imagine a family picnic located at a pretty spot with a photographer, camera & lights set up to remember it all in photos for y’all!
STEP 3
The Photos.
Now for the good stuff: the images!!!!
We have a live video chat online and I reveal the lightly edited images. It’s easy and takes about an hour on the computer.
I have a good system for the narrowing process. We will go over each image one by one and you will pick your favorites. You order what you LOVE. Once you narrow down what you want, we discuss what size.
Then, the finished prints will be delivered to you in the mail. I send the invoice when the prints are on the way to you.
The outcome is designed so that y’all love your images! Everyone enjoying the experience of Meg Reilley Photography portrait making is only part of what makes working with me a overall good experience but I think it’s the best part!
